Here are our favorite things to see and do in Myrtle Beach.

1. The Beaches
Myrtle Beach is famous for its clean beaches, white sand, and sparkling water. The climate in the spring, summer, and fall is ideal for s swimming, sun bathing, parasailing, and banana boat rides. Beach access is always free in Myrtle Beach.
Enjoy a walk along the beautiful white sand on the beach.
In season, life guards are present. The lifeguards rent beach chairs and umbrellas.
Watch the sunrise from our oceanfront balconies or take a walk down to the beach for to take a picture of your family with the sunrise in the background.
The city works very hard to keep the beach clean. Overnight, they run a beach sweeper on the beach raking through the sand to clean and trash and some of the seashells to make the beach more enjoyable for everyone.

2. Broadway at the Beach
Located on 350 acres of fun and adventure, Broadway at the Beach features shopping, dining, nightlife, and entertainment. It is one of the most popular destinations in the the Myrtle Beach Area. With its great location, convenient parking and wide range of outstanding activities for visitors of all ages, it’s the perfect place to make magical memories of your own.

3. Market Common
A new upscale downtown area to satisfy your shopping, dining, and movie theater cravings.

The Market Common is a new upscale downtown area a short 2 miles west of the Ocean Blue Resort. It includes many upscale stores, restaurants, and a movie theater.
4. Savannah's Playground
Savannah’s playground is located in Market Common. It is a multi-acre playground featuring ADA approved playground equipment so children of all abilities have the opportunity to play together and have fun. There are musical play equipment amongst the trees that play just like actual instruments. There is an early childhood playground as well as a school aged playground.

6. Murrels Inlet Marshwalk
“Where the fun, the view, and the music is always free!”

Murrels Inlet is about 12 miles south of Myrtle Beach. The MarshWalk, located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet is a ½ mile wooden boardwalk along a natural saltwater estuary. The MarshWalk proudly boasts the most spectacular waterfront dining along the Grand Strand, set against one of nature’s most beautiful stage shows. The Crazy Sister Marina is located 12 miles south of Myrtle Beach

The Tournament Players Club of Myrtle Beach (TPC Myrtle Beach) invites you to test yourself against the greats of golf who have made their mark on this difficult 18-hole, par 72 undulating course. Tom Watson, Lanny Wadkins, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, and Ray Floyd number among the golf legends who have pitted themselves against the complexities of this Tour-caliber course. Indian Wells Golf Club attracts golfers who are looking for a course that is fair – a little bit challenging but not tricky. Players can expect pure enjoyment with plenty of high risk-reward opportunities. Strategy, not brute force, is the name of the game on this 18-hole, par 72 course designed by legendary architect Gene Hamm. The inexpensive price point, where the value far exceeds the cost, is an added attraction. (9 miles from Ocean Blue)
Indigo Creek Golf Club is in the very heart of the Grand Strand’s “Low Country” plantation area in Murrells Inlet, just 10 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. The back nine is set among giant oaks and a flowing creek.(10 miles from Ocean Blue)
10. Outlet Shopping
There are two Tanger Outlet locations in the Myrtle Beach Area.

One of the Tanger Outlets is located on Highway 17, heading north from the Ocean Blue Resort.
The second Tanger Outlet is located Northwest from the Ocean Blue Resort.
